Arnold M. Rose, who received his Ph.D. in 1946 from the University of Chicago, was Fulbright Fellow at the Centre d'Etudes Sociologues in Paris (1951-52) and at the University of Rome (1956-57). He has taught at Bennington College (1946-47), at Washington University (1947-49), and since 1949, at the University of Minnesota, where he is now Professor of Sicialogy. (From back flap)

Good hardcover edition. As is dust jacket. Jacket shows minor edge wear. The book has a black cloth cover. Slightly bumped corners. Complete interior with photograph illustrated but is profusely highlighted. This belonged to a teacher's estate. And I believe a student before that as the only writing is her name and room number in ink front first page. See photos. Great reference material and hard to find book.
