Robert Coles is professor emeritus at Harvard University and the author of numerous books, including his series Children of Crisis, for which he won a Pulitzer Prize. He has also won a MacArthur Award, a Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a National Humanities Medal. He takes a look at people caught up in the tense and violent racial strife. He is especially interested how this effects children.

Very good conditioned paperback with little handling wear. Some minor discoloring at the very bottom of exterior page edges. Hard to notice. Clean and bright. Great gift for the Psychologist, Teacher in your life. A very important read with what is happening in America and other country's today.
