'Samlede Vaerker: Folkeudgave' a collection of works by Bjornstjerne Bjornson, a prominent figure in Norwegian literature. Bjornson was a noble laureate.
Complete in nine volumes. A uniform collected edition of Bjørnson’s major works, including novels, tales, plays, poems, essays, and speeches. (A breakdown below). Text in Danish. Each volume bound in brown cloth material on spine and corners.with the main body showing a decorative marbleized or 'snail trail' pattern. The process I believe is called half linen or linen-backed boards. Each has a spine label with Roman numerals, #4 is faded. Beautifully preserved set. An attractive and complete example of this classic Scandinavian literary edition.
