"This is an excellent account of karma. Carus worked closely with D.T. Suzuki, in fact, it was because of Carus that Suzuki came to the United States to translate Eastern texts.
While Carus clearly believed in some form of theistic holism, it does not influence this book as much as one would imagine.
Again, I highly recommend this for those that want more than just a "Hollywood" understanding of Buddhism."
